Problem Set 7: Navier-Stokes Equations
Note: This exercise sheet covers two important topics: (a) 2D potential flow and (b) viscous laminar flow, where the Navier-Stokes equations essentially turn into a diffusion equation ... and than you know how to solve them. The problems are organized by topic but I suggest to work on them in an order that guarantees that you look at both topics. So the suggested order is: First: Problem 1, 3, 4, Then 4,2 and last you can work on no. 5 - no 5 is important but it involves again the full time-dependent solution of a diffusion problem and thus might be time-consuming.
