Start thinking about the following about your final design solution:

Is the product relevant? is it useful? is it addressing users' needs of significant population? is it engaging? are there interaction principles violated? does it respect visual hierarchy? are the visual design principles respected? is the video telling the user experience story? is it done with good sound and voice? does it qualify for the best video reward?

Week 14 (May 19)

How to evaluate interactive systems (week 12 material)

Throughout the week, with your teammates, focus on refining your final design solution and video presentation.

Consider the following questions:

  • Does your product address challenging interaction issues effectively (suitableness)?
  • Is the solution proposed in the Vision statement beneficial for the intended users (usefulness)?
  • Does the solution employ technology innovatively (novelty)?
  • Is the technology used appropriate for this user group (adequacy)?
  • Is the design engaging (playfulness)?
  • Are any interaction principles overlooked?
  • Does it adhere to visual hierarchy and design principles?
  • Does the video effectively narrate the user experience, with quality sound and voiceover?

A "Best Video" prize will be awarded to the group receiving the most votes from peers. Voting will take place next week.
