Important announcement before class begins on Feb 17th

Welcome to CS 486, everyone.
This class adopts a hybrid flipped classroom approach, where you’ll explore learning materials on your own before our lecture sessions. This method allows us to dedicate our time together to interactive, hands-on activities that deepen your understanding of the topics. To make the most of this approach, it’s essential to complete the assigned readings and come prepared for each lecture.
Our sessions will begin promptly at 8:15 a.m. every Monday, starting on February 17th. Please don’t forget to bring your laptop, as it will be an essential tool for our activities.
Important: There will be five graded assignments throughout the course, all conducted in class. The first graded assignment will take place during the second week of class. These assignments are open-book and open-notes. I will go over the material together in class on the designated day to help you prepare, but completing the assigned readings at home beforehand is essential for your success.
