Course Assessment

There are two main forms of assessment for the course: homework assignments and a final exam.

The homeworks will typically consist of a problem related to the material covered in the most recent lecture, to be solved, written up, and uploaded to Moodle for grading. The grade is based on correctness and clarity of presentation. There will be occasional deviation from the standard assignment format, which will be announced in class and on Moodle.

The final exam will be a written exam. It is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 14, 9:15 - 12:15 in BCH 2201.

The final grade for the course is computed as a weighted average of the homework (25%) and exam (75%) scores.
