Description
Post-lecture update: The proof of linearity of the integral uses the triangle inequality for real/complex numbers but does NOT use the triangle inequality for the integral. I have rearranged the statements in the notes so that the proof of linearity appears before the proof of the triangle inequality for the integral and all steps are fully justified.
