Welcome!
Welcome to this course on Supervising Students in Projects and Labs!
We looking forward to the course Supervising Students in Projects and Labs ENG-633 with you. This is a practical course that involves you applying evidence‐informed strategies from the literature on science and engineering teaching as you accompany your student(s) in their project and lab work. We aren’t going to « teach » you to teach well by teaching « at » you -> teaching is an applied skill that develops through practice and reflection.
As you probably know, 1 ECTS at EPFL corresponds to approximately 30h of learning time. In this course, this includes synchronous workshops and coaching, independent reading and writing of the final report. These activities are moderated through this moodle page.
