Theory
Content: How to identify and use the symmetry of a FE model, the concept of rigid body motions and how to prevent them using isostatic boundary conditions. How to model load / displacement or other type of boundary conditions.
Goal: Being able to use symmetries wherever possible, defining realistic boundary conditions that avoid rigid body motions.
