This course will be a project oriented practical design course that will allow you to experience the process of designing integrated circuits. Course participants will be working on designing a high-performance ALU using Full Custom design style based on dynamic logic. The contents include:

• Fundamentals of dynamic logic (tutorial)
• Basic computer arithmetic (fast adders)
• Full-custom digital design (schematic) and basic logic optimization 
• Full-custom digital design (floorplanning)
• Full-custom digital design (clock and power planning)
• Full-custom digital design (parasitic estimation and optimization)
• Full-custom digital design (layout)
