Grading

There will be three graded activities:

  • Two projects where you will experiment with the course concepts
  • One written midterm (April 8th)
  • One written final exam (To be decided)
Grading scheme:
  • Projects constitute 40% of the grade. There will be two projects. The first project will count 15% and the second project will count 25%.
  • The midterm constitutes 20% of the grade.
  • The final exam constitutes 40% of the grade.
  • The grades of the activities will be combined as follows:
    0.15*project1_grade + 0.25*project2_grade + 0.2*midterm_grade + 0.4*exam_grade

About the midterm/final exam
Midterm

  • The midterm will be on the 8th April in the 14-17h Tuesday slot. 
  • The midterm will ask questions about the material from the first 7 weeks of the class. 
  • The questions will be in the same vein as the ones that are proposed for the exercise sessions.
  • The midterm will be closed book (One 2-sided A4 cheat-sheet is allowed)and will have to be taken on Campus
Final exam

  • The final exam will take place on Wednesday 18.06.2025 from 15h15 to 18h15 (SG 1138).
  • The final exam will test your understanding of all class materials.
  • The questions will be in the same vein as the ones that are proposed for the exercise sessions.
  • The exam will be closed book (Two 2-sided A4 cheat-sheets are allowed)and will have to be taken on Campus
