Final theoretical oral exam protocol in INJ 141 :

DURATION : 15 min time slot.

No preparation period because the core topic is the paper chosen for the paper study report

Structure of the oral control (see criteria below):

- 3 min : transition between students (before-after exam)

- 1 min : GenAi tool acknowledgement ; in line with EPFL general guidelines, such tool was not forbidden. So in case any has been used, briefly summarize which one (name/publisher) and for which purpose, e.g. structuring, summarizing, reformulating, comparing, concluding, etc...

- 4 min : oral presentation by the student to present their paper study

----> covering all components of the paper study: paper contributions over the state of the art (1 min max), topic evolution through the citation analysis (2 min max) and the conclusion (1 min max)

- 7 min : questions/discussion

----> start on the paper topic and the background knowledge of the project,

----> evaluate also more general VR background knowledge

----> evaluate your capability to generalize and/or imagine new applications

The oral exam is closed books.
