Important information:
- Schedule: Monday 10:15 to 12:00 (lecture, written on board, pictures of the boards will be taken) / Friday 13:15 to 15:00 (exercises)
- Rooms: Lecture: MA A330. Exercises: GR C001
- The final exam will count for 80% of the grade. Graded exercises will give the other 20%.
- Graded exercises: a weekly graded exercise will be included in the exercise sheet on Mondays, starting on Monday, September 8th (Problem Sheet 1). The class will be divided into three groups (see below). Every week, a different group will be asked to upload the graded exercise before the following Monday at 10:00. Each student will have the opportunity to hand in 4 exercises over the semester. Each exercise is either passed or failed. Notice that you must answer all the questions to pass the exercise. 3 passed exercises (over 4) are needed to get the maximum grade.

Exam
The exam will take place from 9.15 to 11.45 in the classroom GRA332 the day Jan 14.
Exam Rules:
-No personal notes are allowed;
-Electronic devices (phones, smart watches,calculators, ...) are forbidden;
-Draft paper will be distributed; you are not allowed to take your own;
-Draft sheets won't be corrected.
The exam includes two long exercises on ODEs and elliptic equations and two shorter exercises on parabolic and hyperbolic equations.
