Introduction to particle accelerators

PHYS-448

This file is part of the content downloaded from Introduction to particle accelerators.
Course summary

Accelerators play a major role in elementary particle physics, structural and dynamical analysis of matter and particularly also in medicine and industry. The basics of accelerator theory and accelerator technology are presented. Innovative accelerator projects for research and application are discussed. In addition 1 lecture is devoted to visit the CERN laboratory and discuss on the operating accelerators: the Large Hadron Collider, the Antimatter Decellerator, the Synchro-Cyclotron and many more.
