Description
About SLT (student led tutorials)
- For the SLT we will form groups of ~20 students.
- One week before the SLT session, we will provide a set of 6 exercises questions via the Moodle platform.
- Students prepare the answers to the exercises and confirm via an online tool on Moodle to be ready to discuss the question in front of the group if picked randomly by the TA.
- If you don’t declare readiness, you won’t be asked to present, but of course you can (and should) take part in the discussion.
- You must indicate your readiness for at least 3 SLT sessions out of the 4.
- The official language of the course being English, we also conduct the SLT in English. This is part of the learning, and since we discuss in a group, with some members not fluent in French, it is the most convenient way. Of course, if some student has not the right term in English available, he/she can drop in some words in French, and then return to English.
The SLT's are graded as follows:
| 3 SLT sessions attended (min 1 active presentation) | 6,0 |
| 2 SLT sessions attended (min 1 active presentation) | 5,0 |
| 1 SLT session attended (1 active presentation) | 4,0 |
| 0 SLT session attended, or no solution presented | 0,0 |
- More information will be provided when available and placed here as well.
