Description
This module treats various methods of solving non-linear equations, such as Newton-Raphson, Chord etc.
At the end of this module, you should be able to explain:
- Type of equations: implicit/explicit
- Newton-Raphson method
- Chord method
- Wegstein method
- Numerical calculation of derivatives
- Convergence criteria and relaxation
- Extension to n-dimensional system of equations
- Rubin method
