Time and Place


The course has 2 hours of lecture and a 2 hour exercise session each week.

Lecture: Mondays 13:15 - 15:00 in DIA004
Exercises: Mondays 15:15 - 17:00 in DIA004

Course Assessment


There will also be a small number of problems assigned for homework each week. One problem per week will be graded for correctness and the remainder (if any) will be checked only for completeness. Solutions to all homework exercises will be posted on Moodle after they are graded. More details on the homework can be found on the page "Homework Assessment Criteria."

The final exam will be a written exam. The exam is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21 from 15:15 to 18:15 in CM1121.

The final grade for the course is computed as 0.2*(homework score) + 0.8*(exam score).
