Water and wastewater treatment

ENV-405

This file is part of the content downloaded from Water and wastewater treatment.

This course on water and wastewater treatment is a continuation of the teaching on this topic during the bachelor cycle. Hence, it is an advanced Master level course that goes in more depth on certain specific topics in the domain. People who have never had courses in this domain, but also not in environmental chemistry and microbiology, will have quite a challenge to follow the course. However, several students in the past have shown that it is feasible with some additional efforts compared with students that come from the SIE bachelor cycle or a similar program. Free e-books allow to catch up on certain topics.

The course will be taught in class from 08:15-10:00. For the students that prefer not attending the lectures, videos of the course are available (see link provided below). The exercise session is from 10:15-13:00 for the students present in class and TAs are present to answer questions.

This is a 5-credits course and therefore it is obvious that it will not be possible to solve all the problems of the homework during the three contact hours of the exercise session. That is also the reason why the exercise files are called homework. During the first exercise session of September 10, TAs will be available to answer questions but we also expect questions on homework 1 the week after.
