Description

To help you stay organized and on track with your homework, this list will be updated regularly with all upcoming tasks.

If a problem sheet contains assessed problems, it will be indicated in parentheses next to the problem sheet title.

Each week might contains assessed problem. You will have to submit half of them together. The first part should be around middle April and the last part at the end of the semester, but the exact deadlines will be announced 2 weeks in advance.

Week 1:

  • Problem Sheet 1 : "Classical Theory"
  • Install Mathematica
  • Mathematica Problem Sheet 1
The exercises this week cover classical probability theory and an intro to mathematica. This material is intended to prepare you to tackle the rest of the course but is not strictly examinable... so if you don't have time for all the mathematica exercises no worries.

Week 2:

  • Problem Sheet 2: "Quantum Basics"
  • Mathematica Problem Sheet 2 (graded exercise)

Week 3:

  • Problem Sheet 3: "Purifications and measurements" (graded exercise)

Week 4:
