Dear Students
 
Welcome to this years course "Materials Selection".
You will find all the slides of all PowerPoint presentations for printing (if really necessary?) or learning as separate PDF-files on Moodle. An offline lecture recording is also available for the first four lecture blocks. The last lecture block (no 7) consists of excercises to warm-up for the exam.
The exercises at the end of the each lecture can be solved with the software (GRANTA EduPack) either in lecture room MXF014 or via remote (*) - see lecture instructions. The results of the exercises are stored for comparison on Moodle as well. I look forward to seeing you all on 19 February at 9:15 am in lecture room INM200.

(*) Granta EduPack is available on the virtual infrastructure (vdi) and all STI students can access this and should know how to do so. Usually go on https://vdi.epfl.ch and login with your Gaspar credentials.
