You can open this model directly with COMSOL doing the following:
"File"->"Application Libraries"->"Heat Transfer Module"-> "Verification Examples"->"localized_heat_sources"->Open COMSOL file
Look at how the mesh affects the results for Component 1. Look at how Component 2 is defined in terms of boundary conditions.
