Important information
There will be no class and no exercise session on the 11th of March, due to the Course d'Ecole. An exercise sheet will be available to work on your own.
The midterm exam is scheduled on the 15th of April during the exercise session (PLEASE let me know ASAP if this is not possible for you, thank you). Lecture notes are authorized, computer or electronic devices will not be authorized.
The goal of the midterm is to help you pass the class if you work consistently, see the formula for the final grade below.
Final grade = max(final exam, 0.85 * final exam + 0.15 * midterm exam)
