In Lecture 12, we covered the following topics:

-notions of connected and integral schemes, with some examples;

-notion of normal scheme, and Serre's conditions;

-geometric interpretation of Serre's R1 condition;

-regular local rings of dimension 1, integrally closed rings of dimension 1, and DVRs are the same thing.
