Hello,
Due to my (non-ideal) absence during this first week of the semester, I would like you to read the first two sections of Chapter 1 of the lecture notes (compact-open topology and the exponential law) or watch the first two videos available on Mediaspace + the first 25 minutes of the third one, which cover this material.
We will meet on Zoom on Tuesday 18 February at 1:15pm to discuss the program of the course (this is also done during the 25 first minutes of the first video), provide answers to your questions if you have any, and illustrate the concepts with some extra examples or exercices from Sheet 1. The exercise session will be run by the assistant of this course, Virgile, in a traditional way (in person).
