Description

Course logistics

For 10 weeks, every Thursday from 16h to 17h30, two PhD candidates will prepare and present their research to an interdisciplinary audience and receive feedback from their peers, mentors and teachers from which they can learn and improve.

The seminars will be open to the public (advertised via memento) giving a chance to present to diverse audiences.

Seminars will be recorded, allowing PhD candidates to rewatch their presentation for further insights and compare their performance to the feedback they will receive.

If you are taking this course as a PhD candidate:
  • register for the course via IS-Academia
  • book Thursdays from 16h to 17h30 in your agenda to actively participate in seminars and see your colleagues present their research so you can give them feedback
  • choose one of the available Thursdays to present your own research
  • prepare your presentation for a diverse audience
  • write and submit the reflection report about your presentation experience
