Lecture 5 - Systems Engineering

We will dedicate 45 minutes to translate the customers' needs all together into :

• a mission statement
• a functional and product decomposition
• an architecture
• high-level requirements
• assumptions
• and a basic ConOps.

This will allow you to clarify the customers' expectations and create a common understanding of the mission to be designed in the sessions from week 3 to 7.

Elements in the list above are preliminary and can still be added and modify along the way until convergence to a feasible solution is reached.

The shared slides can be used, blackboard, any other tools to collaborate in the room.
