Lab on cell-free synthetic biology

Dear all, 

Next week, each group should give 20 min presentation plus 10 min Q&A session. We will start the course at 15:15. We encourage you to ask questions as well :))

Your project presentation and report will be evaluated based on the following:

1. Clarity (30%)

• Is the concept explained clearly and understandably?

• Can others easily grasp the idea and approach?

2. Correctness (30%)

• Are the information, methods, and results accurate?

• Is the data properly supported and reliable?

3. Depth of Discussion (40%)

• Are the results thoroughly analyzed and explained?

• Is there a comprehensive discussion on possible improvements and limitations?

The presentation and report should include: 

Introduction

• Provide an overview of your design concept.

• Describe the components in your system and their purpose.

Method

• Explain how the experiment was conducted, including the protocols and procedures used.

Results

• Present the experimental results clearly, figures will help a lot compared to numbers. 

Discussion

• Analyze the data and explain your findings.

• Address any unexpected outcomes and suggest possible reasons for them.

• Propose ways to improve the experiment or design in the future.
