Image analysis and pattern recognition

Dear all,

As you know, the schedule of the oral interview (exam) is on-line in Moodle.

You will find the list of questions for the interview under this link.

The procedure will be as follows:

- 2 minutes before your assigned time, connect to https://epfl.zoom.us/my/thiran. You will be placed in the waiting room until I admit you to the interview. The interview will last 12 minutes sharp.

- As you can see, there are two series of questions, Part 1 and Part 2. Using the Google random number generator, I will randomly pick two questions, one from each part.

- The questions of Part 1 require a rather long answer, while the questions of Part 2 need a short answer.

- As you can see, in each Part, some questions are present several times. So you have a higher probability to pick them.

- To answer the questions you can use any material you want, including the slides of the course, your personal notes, etc. You may want to share your screen with me in Zoom to show slides of the course to support your answer, or the whiteboard of Zoom to draw something. So have this material open on your computer and please make yourself familiar with these tools before the interview, as time will be extremely limited.
