Exams
There will be two exams, one for the OR module and one for the SM module. Each exam is 25% of the total grade for the course.
The points for the course are divided 50/50 for each module.
The exam is entirely in English and consists of written (either multiple choice or open type) questions related to the course and exercises.
Duration: The duration of each exam will be communicated during the semester.
Eligibility
Only students adhering to the current EPFL guidelines are eligible to sit for the exam.Writing and Presentation
Answer all questions in clear, legible handwriting using blue or black ink.Pencils are not recommended.
Prohibited Items
The use of electronic devices, including calculators, smartphones, and computers, is strictly forbidden during the exam.
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Scoring
For multiple-choice questions with n possibilities of which one is correct, the number of points is equal to 1 if the answer is correct, 0 if no answer is given, 0 if more than one answer is given, -1 / (n-1) if the answer given is incorrect.Grading
