This session focuses on the practical skills of data sourcing and visualization that support the analysis of urban transitions. Students will learn to identify key data sources and understand how to access and download official Swiss statistical and geospatial data. You will learn to distinguish between various data formats and apply visualization tools (GIS) to interpret information. Finally, you will learn to strategically link data and indicators to the (sustainability) evaluation framework. The exercise will support the data collection and analysis phase for your city case (relevant for Step 2).
