Description
These are the raw scores of the midterm. The maximum number of points possible for this midterm is 40. We do not assign actual grades at this time, since these points will be counted as 1/3rd of the final grade. At the final exam there will be again 10 multiple choice questions (1pt each) and 4 free answer problems (10 pts each). As the final counts 2/3rds for the course grade, the calculation of the final scores will be: (points midterm)+2*(points final)+points for optional project /140 *100%. The course grade (1-6) will then be assigned based on a weighted distribution.
