Description
This is a pre-publication draft of Chapter 1 in the course book. It contains a soft introduction to quantum states, density matrices, measurements, etc.
It is a good test to check that you are able to follow the material in that book chapter relatively comfortably. If so, you should be equipped for the rest of the class. If not, there might be too much background that you are missing.
