Organization and Timing

Each week:

1) Lectures

  • Review material (textbooks and slides) before class
  • Class on Monday from 16:15-19:00 in CE6
  • Lecture notes will be provided

2) Guided exercise sessions

  • Class on Tuesday from 10:15-11:00 in SG1
  • Lecture notes will be provided  

3) Exercise sessions

  • Please sign up for a tutoring group using this link and please stay with your group
  • The coming week's problem set will be posted Saturday evening
  • Read and attempt exercise set beforehand
  • Join your tutoring group on Wednesday from 17:15-19:00 in the CO and CE buildings
  • Finish up the exercises after the tutoring session and before checking solutions
  • Solutions to the week's problem set will be posted Thursday evening for you to check

4) [OPTIONAL] Supplementary Q&A sessions

  • Sessions for PHYS-101(en) held on Tuesdays (17:30-19:00) and Thursdays (18:00-19:30) in CM 1 105These sessions start the first week of October and continue for the remainder of the semester
  • Office hours will be held on Tuesdays right after class (11:15) in room ELG 116 


Review sessions (January 2025)
  • There will be two review sessions for you to come and ask any question you might have. This includes all topics covered in the lectures, the exercises, the Mock exams, etc.
  • They will take place in room CO 010 on Thursday, January 9th 2025, at 10:00 - 12:00 and Tuesday, January 14th 2025, at 10:00 - 12:00.
