Description

Come to MED 2 2318

We primarily use the EPFL wiki for the class, as I will explain tomorrow

Page content

Very generic information about ME 412 (not duplicated on the wiki, but provided in alternative forms)

Formation & work in groups

We will assign groups on the first in-lab day for each of the three modules. The first three weeks will focus on developing familiarity with the lab instrumentation and LTSpice software, as will be reflected in the nature of the exercises. Lab notebooks are still expected of everyone during this period.

Office hours

With the teaching assistants, we will have an office hour on Tuesday afternoons. The teaching staff will be reviewing the lab exercises at this time, and can provide limited feedback to students who are on campus on Tuesdays. This time is intended for you to complete labs that were not possible in the allotted time on Wednesday.

The wiki

The class makes use of a wiki for posting feedback, tips-and-tricks, and general information, including pdf documents and lecture notes. Contributions to the wiki can augment your individual assessment; the augmentation depends on the scale and utility of the contribution. A detailed description of wiki contributions should be included in the online lab notebook, and an indication that the relevant section was posted to the wiki should be provided.
