Below you find some metadata and information about the exam. Please let me know if you detect erroneous information, typos, etc. or miss relevant information.

Organization.
  • The exam takes place on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 09:15 to 11:15 in the morning (sharp times, 120 minutes).
  • The exam will be written in room CM1121. Please arrive there at least 15 minutes before the exam starts.
  • No aids are allowed. If you possess an unauthorized aid during the exam, you may be charged with an academic offense.
  • The exam will consist of 6 problems, each worth 10 points. Each of them is subdivided into subtasks. Among these 6 problems, there will be 1 true-or-false-question (without negative points).
  • Please do not forget to bring your student card to the exam.
  • Please familiarize yourself with the additional rules on the exam cover sheet here.
Consultation.
  • The exam consultation is offered on two days: Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 16:00 to 18:00 and Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 10:00 to 12:00.
  • Both consultations will take place in room MAB1506.
  • You can choose whatever time fits your schedule best. However, each student can review her or his exam only once. That is, if you decide to come in on Wednesday, it will not be possible to have a second exam review the day after.
  • If you feel you have been graded incorrectly after reviewing your grading, you will be asked to explain your evidences to me during the exam consultation. I will review the relevant parts of your exam and notify you by email within 24 hours after the second exam consultation with a definitive response on your regrading request.
  • The exam consultation will be the only opportunity for you to review your exam. If you cannot make it to the above time frame for reasons related to your exam schedule or other academic circumstances, please notify me immediately (in any case before December 17, 2024) by email.
  • Please only review your grading during the exam consultation. The attempt to take pictures, videos, notes, etc. from your exam may result in an academic offense.
