Each week there are two lectures:

Tuesday (13:15 - 15:00) in room CM2
Thursday (14:15 - 16:00) in room CE13

Due to CM2 being too small to host all students, lectures on Tuesdays are also streamed via Zoom:

This is an in-person course and attendance is strongly encourage. I will usually teach via tablet/beamer and upload notes to this Moodle page in the evening after the lecture.

In order to follow this course (and succeed in the exam), it is sufficient to work with the notes you take in class (or the handwritten notes uploaded here), as well as the exercise sheets and solutions provided on this Moodle page.

However, if you prefer consulting additional written resources, I recommend the book

  • book: Algèbre linéaire et applications by Steven Lay

This course and my handwritten notes are (roughly) based on his book.

Moreover, there are typed notes from a previous semester typed up by Kalam Walmsley. You can find the notes below. However, be careful! These notes are not official proofread and I do not take any responsibility for their correctness. Also, in the semester the notes were typed, it was not me teaching the course. So the material is not necessarily completely identical.
