1 Jumping DEA robot: design and model a DEA robot that can hop. You are free to choose the mechanism and size-scale, but the actuator must be a DEA, and the robot must be flexible. Goal is to jump 5 body lengths in height every 5 seconds. Contact: Herbert.shea@epfl.ch
2 Literature review on soft electrically driven untethered robots (not pneumatic!). Critical review of the different approaches currently used to make soft mobile robots, including control. Discussion of the pros and cons of each approach. Contact: Herbert.shea@epfl.ch
