Spacecraft design and system engineering

Gilles Feusier, head of technology and science at Space Innovation EPFL, has a strong experience in project management, systems engineering as well as in space hardware. After earning a PhD in solid sates physics, he worked for about 20 years in the industry, mainly space industry. He was involved in many projects, for ESA or other customers, including space mechanisms, robotics and bio-reactors. He was the technical director of RUAG Space SA Nyon and of the machine tool company Voumard Machines SA.
