Description
Next week's lecture is about making in education and we will be meeting at 8h15 in the new EPFL makerspace called the SPOT (DLLEL 0 94.2). We will not be meeting in the normal classroom. Here's the schedule for our time there:
- 8:15 to 8:30 — Tour of the SPOT
- 8:30 to 9:15 — Hands-on making activity (see below)
- 9:30 to 10:00 — Lecture on Making in Education
During the maker activity in the SPOT you will be working in groups to create LED snowflakes out of laser-cut acrylic. This will involve some soldering, so you should not come if you are sensitive to solder fumes. Please be in touch before Tuesday if you have any questions or concerns!
